A classical feng shui practice for homes, gardens, renovations, and new builds — from Prince Edward County to wherever your site stands.
Feng shui is one of the eight branches of Chinese medicine, refined over centuries as a rigorous system for reading and working with environmental conditions. Its methods are technical and verifiable. The simplified, Westernised version has almost nothing to do with the classical practice.
A classical analysis begins outside the building and works inward. Using the Luo Pan compass, the Chinese calendar, and the natal chart of the structure, MK identifies the most favourable naturally occurring chi on the site and examines how landform, orientation, spatial organisation, and time cycles either draw that energy into the property or obstruct it.
The position of external features — pools, water, hedges, gates, fire — is as significant as anything inside the house. None of this requires belief. The conditions operate whether or not the occupants are aware of them. The practice identifies those conditions and recommends precise, often simple, corrective steps.
A site-specific reading of an existing home — landform, orientation, internal layout, water, and the timing cycles affecting the occupants.
